Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has appointed its newest managing director (MD) Datuk Iskandar Mizal Mahmood, effective October 25.
MAHB is looking forward to welcoming Mizal as their newest MD, who brings a long track record of leadership experience, including 32 years as a corporate leader, 18 of which were spent in a leadership position.
According to the airport’s operator, having a leader like Mizal on board will be able to steer the company into an environment of constant innovation.
“Malaysia Airports in its bid to become a global airport group that champions connectivity and sustainability welcomes a leader who will be able to steer the company into an environment of continuous innovation,” it said.
He previously worked at MAHB as general manager from 1999 to 2003, during which time he oversaw the company’s initial public offering (IPO) and subsequent listing on the Bursa Malaysia stock exchange.
