Sustainability Resources At ICAEW

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Sustainability and Climate Change Community allows anyone to access resources that enable all companies to be more resilient and keep these issues at the heart of all businesses, says  Loh Wei Yuen, Head of ICAEW Malaysia.

Whilst sustainability is an area that many companies are still in the early stages of understanding, all companies, including SMEs should be considering whether their current composition has the skills and expertise to fully explore how climate risk affects the organisation with regards to strategy, operations and reputation.

In the run-up to the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), the British Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) and the British High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (BHCKL) are spearheading the Malaysia Climate Action Week happening right now until 29 October 2021 where ICAEW is also a Climate Action Week Partner.

Those who are looking to learn more are welcome to join the events during these five days of thought-provoking webinars on key climate action themes and listen to prominent thought and business leaders in pertinent discussions on leading-edge climate action initiatives and the much-needed transition to a zero-carbon future.
