Tropicana Corporation has entered into a joint venture agreement with developer Puncak Alam Housing Sdn Bhd to develop a 362-acre leasehold in Ijok Kuala Selangor.
- According to filing the proprietors find the land to be a good prospect for landed township development that can contribute steady demand within the Klang Valley area. They have also noted on the good connectivity, established neighbourhood and ready amenities within the vicinity. Separately, the parties also deem future potential development of various types of development in view of the surrounding neighbourhoods with ready catchment and a proven track record on the townships nearby.
- Currrently there are Eco Grandeur & Eco Business Park by Eco World Development Group which has development situated in the area and LBS Alam Perdana by LBS Bina Group Berhad also having properties in the vicinity. Tropicana is seeking to use this venture as part of its strategies to focus on prime hotspots in Klang Valley, and to ensure that its well represented in the Central region.
- This will also be a good opportunity for the Group to replenish its existing property development projects and enhance
- its property development profile. Besides the land is located at a well accesisble route like the Kuala Lumpur – Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR Expressway) and upcoming Damansara – Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH highway).
