Fintec Glove has handed AE Multi Holdings via its subsidiary AE Multi Industries Sdn. Bhd. an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning for the purpose of a 14 glove-dipping line that will manufacture medical-grade nitrile gloves for the company.
The project is estimated to be worth RM49 million and will require AE Multi Industries to perform all required work related to the project including procuring the design, engineering, and others. It will also have to implement systems pertaining to nitrile butadiene rubber and necessary utilities. This will also include monitoring, inspecting, testing, evaluate and documenting performance of the machinery installation and other activities relating to or affecting the condition, installation, testing, or operation of Machinery
Separately, AE Multi Industries is required to train the staff of Fintec Glove as to the use, works, know-how, and operation of the Machineries to ensure the smooth running, manufacturing, and production of medical-grade nitrile gloves.
AE, although is mostly involved in the PCB and computer industry, the extension into EPCC is in line with the Group’s expansion to diverse into the gloves manufacturing solutions business which is expected to contribute to the profitability of the Group in the future. This is being seen as an avenue to generate an alternative source of income for the Group’s current core business.
Fintec Glove is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fintec Global Berhad which is listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities. Fintec Glove is principally engaged in the business of manufacturing, distributing, and trading personal protective healthcare equipment.
