Exabytes To Organise MY SME Export Forum

Exabytes, one of Southeast Asia’s leading cloud, eCommerce and digital solutions providers is organising MY SME Export Forum from 1 December 2021 to 2 December 2021.

This first-ever Malaysian SME B2B e-commerce exporting forum will be conducted virtually, free of charge.

Targeting SMEs, entrepreneurs, and potential market entrants who are interested in foreign markets, this forum will discuss the eligibility requirements and procedures in international markets, new developments in the international market, Malaysian government initiatives in place for this segment, digitalisation of the exporting business, and the exporting ecosystem.

According to multiple reports, Malaysia's trade increased by 25.5 percent to RM195.54 billion in September, with exports remaining above RM100 billion for the fourth consecutive month, after increasing by 24.7% to RM110.83 billion in September 2021.

The 2022 Budget provided RM25 million to the trade and investment mission to investigate high-impact investments and new export markets in order to boost the country's economic recovery.

With that said, attendees will be exposed to the exporting business by guest speakers from key industry players such as Stephen Kuo, Head of Asia Pacific, Alibaba.com, Song Hock Koon (Director of eCommerce for MDEC), Ding Hong Sing (National President of SME Association of Malaysia) and Yeoh Seng Hooi (Honorary Secretary-General for Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Malaysia).

The two-day plenary session will also discuss the ways/procedures to penetrate the international market, new developments and insights on the current global market scenario as well as the opportunities and effective entry strategies that will benefit SMEs businesses integrally and fundamentally.
