Sephora Malaysia has partnered with the buy now pay later brand, Atome, to introduce the concept acceptance across its website, mobile app, and 18 stores across Malaysia.
Sephora is the world’s leading prestige beauty retailer with over 2,600 stores in 38 markets, offering customers a unique retail experience with innovative services and nearly 300 beauty brands, including Sephora’s brand, Sephora Collection.
Alia Gogi, President of Sephora Asia, says: “They(customers) now not only expect a secure, seamless, and easy payment experience but also flexibility and choice in how they shop and pay for their beauty products online, on mobile, and in-stores.
“We’re delighted to partner with Atome in introducing ‘buy now pay later’ flexible payment options to first our Singapore and later Malaysian customers, enhancing their shopping experience both online and in our stores.”
“We’re really happy to expand our regional partnership with Sephora to Malaysia. We’ve seen great success in our partnership in Singapore and now, we’re thrilled to be able to offer Sephora’s customers in Malaysia the same seamless, secure and flexible payment experience as they shop for the latest beauty products, especially as we enter the festive end-of-year shopping season,” David Chen, CEO of Atome, says.
Launched in the last quarter of 2020 in Malaysia, Atome’s merchant network in Malaysia has expanded to over 500 online and offline retailers across beauty, fashion, travel, homeware, and lifestyle categories.
To celebrate the official launch, Sephora customers in Malaysia will enjoy an additional 10%off (capped at RM100) with a minimum RM200 spend online, mobile app, and in-store when they pay with Atome during Black Friday exclusive weekend promotions between 24 to 28 November.
This Holiday season holds more meaning as Sephora Malaysia marks 10 Years of Beauty.
