An important factor that goes into creating an ideal workspace includes getting the right IT architecture in place. With the accelerated digitisation in the past year, companies are constantly upskilling their equipment and adapting the workforce to meet the enhanced IT landscape.

On their journey to create the ideal workforce of the future, HP is making sure the right sustainable impact is in place as well in order to create a positive, lasting change for the planet, its people and communities in a world where technology dominates everyday life and its interactions,

According to HP, 1.7 million pounds of ocean-bound plastics are sourced for use in HP ink cartridges and hardware, keeping them out of the ocean.

Beyond HP’s collecting, sorting, and recycling processes, the usage of ocean-bound plastics extends to its PC portfolio, whereby plastics are molded into new parts such as laptop enclosures, fan enclosure and speaker for HP products.

“Our industry-leading goal of increasing the use of postconsumer recycled plastic to 30% across our PC and Print portfolio is underscored by the fact that already 100% of our toner cartridges and 80% of our ink cartridges are manufactured with postconsumer plastic,” says Tan.
