Celcom Acquires Cybersecurity And Networking Firm Bridgenet Solutions

Celcom Axiata Berhad makes its foray into acquisition after a long hiatus as the telecommunication provider seeks to deepen its foothold in the enterprise services. The group has announced that it had acquired a leading ICT and Cybersecurity solution provider Bridgenet Solutions Sdn. Bhd, which also provides Networking solutions as well as Managed Services for enterprises.

The acquisition is aimed at reinforcing Celcom’s portfolio as competition in the field continues to intensify with other service providers are offering added enterprise solutions for their business customers.

Established in 2003, Bridgenet is a dedicated Enterprise IT and IT Security Solutions provider with proven capabilities and vast experiences in delivering end-to-end Cybersecurity solutions, Networking solutions, and Managed Services. The company is renowned for its services and solutions in Data Security, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Network Security, and many more.

The acquisition will bring along a strong team of professionally certified cybersecurity experts that will further complement and enhance Celcom’s existing cybersecurity team and services. With the acquisition, Celcom will be a full-fledged Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP).
