Construction company, TCS Group Holdings Berhad has secured an RM126 million contract from Saujana Permai Development Sdn. Bhd for the design, construction, and completion of a condominium project in Kuala Langat.
Hailing the win as a boost for the group, Managing Director Dato’ Ir Tee Chai Seng added that the new RM126 million project is the fifth contract clinched in 2021, bringing total contracts secured to RM967.08 million. Currently, the Group’s outstanding order book stands at RM1.65 billion, providing TCS earnings visibility for the next three financial years.
The specific project called Arcadia will consist of 2 blocks of 21 storey condominiums with 315 units in each block, the blocks will also have 7 floors of parking and 36 spots of retail space including 7 shop lots.
“We are also seeing signs that more jobs are being awarded in tandem with the economic recovery. Our tender book continues to be healthy as our team remains busy working on more tenders. The Group is targeting projects such as residential and commercial buildings, infrastructure projects, purpose-built buildings such as private hospitals and schools as well as institutional buildings such as government hospitals.”
Dato Tee mentioned that his company places the utmost emphasis on ensuring the best quality, safety and health environment, cost efficiency, and timely completion for all their ongoing projects.
The Contract has an overall duration of 40 months and commences in January 2022 with expected completion slated to be in May 2025.
