Kelington Clinches RM85 Million Job Order From Singapore Based Semicon Plant

Kelington Group Berhad via its Singapore subsidiary clinched a contract worth approximately RM85 million to provide Ultra High Purity solutions for a semiconductor wafer fab in Singapore.

The contract was awarded by an established engineering and project management of a high-technology facilities company who has been appointed by who has been appointed as the contractor of an IS headquartered semiconductor company that produces memory chips, a key component used across many technology devices.

Under the contract, Kelington will undertake the design, supply, delivery, installation and testing of specialty gas distribution works for the semiconductor wafer fab in Singapore. Works will commence immediately in December 2021 and is slated to be completed by August 2023.

Ir. Raymond Gan, Chief Executive Officer of Kelington Group Berhad said, “This contract win significantly enhances our footing in the semiconductor industry. Moving forward, we remain positive on the Group’s prospects, underpinned by buoyant orderbook replenishment throughout the year arising from the prevailing semiconductor shortage.

Inclusive of this win, the group has so far clinched new orders worth approximately RM1.003 billion in 2021, boosting the Group’s outstanding orderbook to RM1.044 billion.

The Group has recently posted a record-high revenue and net profit of RM337.6 million and RM20.9 million respectively, for the nine months financial period ended 30 September 2021.
