Dialog Wins RM360 Million Compressor Station Project From Petronas Gas

DIALOG had been awarded an EPCC Contract by Petronas Gas Berhad valued at RM360 million to build a compressor station in Kluang, Johor.

The scope of work of the Project involves the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a new booster compressor station with associated equipment and facilities at Mengkibol, Kluang, Johor. It would also include some modification scope for the existing compressors at Segamat Compressor Station and modification to the existing facilities.

The estimated value of the EPCC Contract is up to RM360 million, payable to Dialog progressively throughout the EPCC period. According to Bursa filing, the Letter of Award was obtained through competitive bidding and the value of the EPCC Contract was based on the scope of work specified by Petronas Gas

Petronas Gas is Malaysia’s leading gas infrastructure and utilities company with core businesses in gas processing, gas transmission and regasification. It processes natural gas piped from offshore fields and transports the processed gas via the Peninsular Gas Utilisation pipeline network to its customers in Malaysia and Singapore.

Recently, the company announced it is building a compressor gas station in Kluang with an investment of RM460 million as demand had been growing in the region and also to cater for future demands.
