Inta Bina Secures RM67.7 Million Contract

A 5-star certified G7 building contractor, Inta Bina Group Bhd is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Inta Bina Sdn. Bhd. has accepted a letter of award from Gamuda Land (T12) Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gamuda Berhad.

Inta Bina Group Berhad Managing Director Paul Lim Ooi Joo says, “Thanks to Gamuda Group for selecting us as the contractor for this contract. This contract is expected to contribute positively towards our future earnings for the next one and half years.”

This RM67.7 million contract is for the construction of 203 units of terrace houses for Phase 1C-1 of Gamuda Cove Development. The construction will take 18 months to complete from its commencement date of 15 December 2021.

With this new contract, IBGB’s year-to-date contract wins grew to RM310.8 million, bringing the total outstanding order book to approximately RM1.1 billion. 

Safety And Health Assessment System In Construction (SHASSIC)  is an independent method to assess and evaluate the safety and health performance of a contractor in construction works issued by Malaysia’s Construction Industry Development Board. 

“Part of our top priorities in building works but the safety of our workers is also the key element for our success in the industry. Earlier this week, we were awarded another 5-star SHASSIC award by CIDB Malaysia, which will become a motivation for us to continue ensuring the safety and health of the workers,” he added
