Celcom Allocates RM2 Million For Flood Affected Communities

Celcom Axiata is doing its CSR initiative and responding to the nation’s need with the allocation of RM2 million for flood relief and support to flood-affected communities in KL, Selangor, and other states.

The network operator is also ensuring the network team remains on high alert for immediate action to manage any disruption to our services within disaster areas.

In its effort to get assistance to those in need, Celcom is collaborating with its partners such as the Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA), the GLC Disaster Response Network (GDRN), the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) and other NGOs and agencies, to aid the affected communities.

According to the telco its network team has been on high alert for the past 36 hours, closely monitoring the network sites within the flood-affected areas.
