Dataprep Holdings Bhd has been officially appointed by Asia Coding Centre Sdn Bhd as the Project Delivery Partner on an exclusive basis for all projects involving the Total Outsourcing of Integrated Solution for Covid-19 Rapid Molecular Testing Using Molecular Diagnostics Equipment under MiCo BioMed brand.
Based on the Letter of Consent received from the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Dataprep to commence the trial run of COVID-19 Screening RT-PCR Rapid Molecular Testing at existing MOH’s sites, specifically at the country’s main international entry points such as Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA); KLIA 2; Langkawi International Airport; Senai (Johor) International Airport and Tambak Johor (Causeway).
The deployment will cover the registration, sampling, and testing until the issuance of the testing result. According to Dataprep’s Group MD, Mohamad Sabir Mohamad Sabri, “We are prepared to provide the support to the Government in the process of opening the country’s borders, and confident that it can be implemented efficiently and safely.” He further added that “Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the deployment of MiCo BioMed COVID-19 Rapid Molecular Testing is expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share and net assets per share of Dataprep Group.
