Pos Malaysia which has at least one centre in each district in the country is not spared from the flood disaster that struck the nation over a week ago. With floods still recorded in some of the states, parcel delivery to some of these locations is still hindered.

The national courier company issued a statement informing its customers that several outlets in Selangor, Pahang, Melaka, and Negeri Sembilan are still affected by the flood hence delivery efforts are impossible.

It had asked customers to expect some delays and service interruptions in the affected areas calling on to everyone that it will ensure parcels and mails are delivered as soon as possible.

However, it will be worrying for those who need urgent items delivered to them via the service like medicine, supplements and other important essentials.

MCMC which oversees the delivery service needs to look at alternatives and innovative solutions to tackle this problem in the future, Malaysia situated in the crosswinds of South China Sea weather patterns will be enduring more unfamiliar weather in the coming years, so actions need to be taken soon this and many other issues.
