Tuju Setia Selected Main Contractor For Sunway d’Hill In RM311.7 Million Deal

Construction services companyTuju Setia Berhad has been given the task to become the main contractor for Sunway d’hill Residences, high-rise development in Kota Damansara, Selangor in a deal worth RM311.7 million.

Tuju Setia’s wholly-owned subsidiary Pembinaan Tuju Setia Sdn Bhd was commissioned by Sunway PKNS, a joint venture of Sunway City and the Selangor State development arm, Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor.

According to the Letter of Awards, the details will involve the construction of two blocks of 38-storey serviced apartments of Sunway d’hill Residences with the construction period to span 40 months, commencing in March 2022.

Sunway d’hill Residences is envisioned to be a sustainable development featuring energy and water efficiency and utilising environmentally-friendly materials. It also befits its close proximity to the Kota Damansara Community Forest Reserve.

Managing Director Mr. Wee Eng Kong said “Securing this notable win from a prominent player endorses our expertise in providing value added solutions for our clients, including in specialist sustainable elements and innovative methods to meet their unique needs.

Despite the difficult year faced by the whole construction sector, the construction company was able to overcome the hurdles and successfully increased its new wins to RM944.0 million. Its total order book now is in excess of RM1.5 billion.

Apart from Sunway d’hill Residences, Tuju Setia’s ongoing projects include Mutiara Central Office Suites (Cheras), Riana Dutamas – Phase 2 (Segambut), The Pulse Residence (Bandar Puteri Puchong), Emerald Hills – Phases 3 and 4 (Cheras), TUAI Residence (Setia Alam), 121 Residences (Petaling Jaya), One Equine (Seri Kembangan) and the Kajang Women and Children Hospital.
