State Government Absorbs RM15 Million In Moratorium Payments For Flood Victims

The State Government has stated that it will undertake RM15 million for the moratorium on loan payments for Selangor Hijrah Foundation (Hijrah) entrepreneurs affected by the floods.

Dato ‘Menteri Besar informed the moratorium of two months through the Selangor Bangkit initiative will benefit a total of 921 entrepreneurs under the auspices of the foundation. He added that the State Government is committed to helping entrepreneurs and will be given assistance so that they can recover from this sad episode. Earlier, the executive director of Hijrah explained that the deferral of payments from 22 December so that it could ease the burden of those affected by the disaster.

Dato ‘Seri Mohamad Suparadi Md Noor said the moratorium application was closed on December 29 with entrepreneurs in the food, services, agriculture, livestock, and processing sectors to benefit from this moratorium.
