Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew Responds To Blog Message Relating SMTrack

Recently a particular blogger posted a social media message relating Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew being a crony for Tun Mahathir and in cahoots with other politicians on the National RFID toll project.

In respond to the allegations Tan Sri Lee has issued an open letter stating his position and calling for the post to be taken down. As of today the post is still up.

On Che’gu Bard, as I always said the Malays must stop quarrelling. But whatever he said, he still has my respect. It is seen he is a Cikgu (Teacher) fighting for righteousness.

But on his recent posting, however, I am caught in surprise that as a teacher and also as a devoted Muslim, he is so careless to resort to irresponsible cyberbullying acts by attacking, slandering, and defaming my reputation and claiming that I was involved in SMTrack’s RFID deal, without carefully checking the actual information and facts.

It is a total smear campaign, with slander and defamation.

He doesn’t need to apologize and I hope when he reads this letter, he will just gracefully remove the posting from social media as the posting is not true.

My lawyer has advised that I can take legal action against him and summon millions of Ringgit, I personally do not wish to issue any summon, as l respect Che’gu. However, in order to protect the name of my family, I must do it if he doesn’t remove the posting.
In the event, if I proceed with the legal suite, I will just summon to cover my legal fees that will definitely cost a huge sum, and any excess to it we will donate to charity.

I sincerely hope that when Che’gu Bard reads this open letter, he would remove the posting that he has made earlier.

I published this open letter as a friend who doesn’t know you, if you really think that I am a person with bad characters and deserve to be thought a lesson, please bring this matter to the police or to the court.  And please stop the cyber harassment.

My company secretary has made a police report on this RFID’s posting which is totally a piece of fake news, which is a breach and is punishable under the recent Anti-Fake News Act.

Thank you.
