TH Engineering Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

TH Engineering has appointed its board member, Encik Ahmad Yusof Bin Mohamad as the new Chief Executive Officer who from asking questions will now have to find solutions for the group.

Presumably, he has forty years of technical and managerial experience at various levels in the maritime industry which will come in handy to steer TH Engineering back to clear waters. Ahmad Yusof holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering Management) and Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical). He had also obtained a Master’s Degree of Art Business Administration, Diploma in Business Management, and Certificate in Finance for Non-accountant.

He previously served at various companies as Chief Operating Officer at Grade One Marine Shipyard, CEO at MSET Shipbuilding Corporation, Senior General Manager with PSC Naval Dockyard, Senior Manager with Penang Ship & Construction, Head of Operation with Muhibbah Marine Engineering.

Ahmad Yusof is also a member of The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers and a member of The American Welding Society.

The group has been beleaguered from problems after it entered PN17 status, and since has seen its CEO arrested for graft it seems being top in TH Heavy Engineering is not the most enviable seat for anyone at this moment. Time will tell if Ahmad Yusof has the mettle and grit for the job.
