Cuscapi Acquires RM15 Million In MyEG Shares

System solution provider Cuscapi has acquired over the 12 months 15,984,984 ordinary shares of MyEG or 0.215%. for an aggregate sum of RM15,007,040.

The MSC status company which was established in 1978 as DTS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was the provider in Point-of-Sale systems in Malaysia. Cuscapi added that the acquisitions are part of its initiative to invest in companies with growth
prospects. It seems the purchase is purely for investment as the group is cautiously optimistic that they will provide a positive capital return which will contribute to the earnings in the medium to long term

MYEG Services Berhad, on the other hand, is well known for its service offerings, the online platform is a concessionaire for Malaysian Electronic-Government (“E-Government) providing multiple services like road tax renewal, domestic worker applications, and a host of other services.

Among the many listed entities on the stock market, its interesting to see Cuscapi choosing MyEG to make its key investment.
