MRC Publishes Its Organisational Anti Corruption Plan (OACP) 2021-2025

Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC)  published its Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) 2021-2025 to support the National Anti-Corruption Plan in addressing issues of corruption and misconduct of integrity.  

“MRC supports the government’s recommendations and aspirations in making Malaysia a corruption-free country. Therefore, a comprehensive  plan is drafted to address the issues of malpractice, including corruption,  bribery, and abuse of power.” Dr Daroyah Alwi, Chairman of MRC said.  

The five-year plan also serves as a guideline in setting practical targets for the development of new and comprehensive initiatives. 

The MRC OACP 2021-2025 was formulated based on a specific plan that is carefully analysed with corruption risk assessment methods that will enable  MRC to identify priority areas that need serious attention. The plan is to be evaluated and given continuous improvement, depending on the current situation in timely manner. Daroyah explains that the success of MRC OACP  highly depends on the high commitment and adherence of the management and staff in its implementation. 

Encik Nor Hizwan Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of MRC said, “It is  anticipated with the implementation of the OACP, all MRC staff will  appreciate and cultivate integrity in shaping a corruption-free organisation in Malaysia and in the eyes of the world.”
