NRC Agrees To Reopen Borders Fully On March 1

The National Recovery Council (NRC) has recommended that the country’s borders be reopened completely without the requirement for strict quarantine as early as March 1.

However, its chairman, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, stated that, in accordance with the Health Ministry’s instructions, travellers must take the Covid-19 test before leaving and upon arrival in the country.

The reopening of borders, he claimed, would boost the country’s recovery.
