MRC Successfully Participated In Arab Health 2022

Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) has successfully participated in the Arab Health exhibition from January 24 to 28 at Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

‘’The promotional efforts and initiatives have led to a total number of 4,859 visits to MRC Malaysia  Pavilion and a total of 2,482 trade enquiries were received by MRC and its eight co-exhibitors throughout the 4-day event. I am happy with the overwhelming response.’’ Dr Daroyah Alwi, the  Chairman of MRC said. 

Through this trade show participation, MRC has successfully coordinated 98 business matching between potential buyers and co-exhibitors with RM 110,458,080 (USD 25,920,000) total sales recorded by MRC co-exhibitors which comprises of RM 12,443,580 (USD 2,920,000) immediate sales and RM 98,014,500 (USD 23,000,000) potential sales. 

Encik Nor Hizwan Ahmad, CEO of MRC said, “We definitely encourage this type of participation to  further promote made in Malaysia rubber and rubber products to be globally known, in line with  our ongoing campaign, ‘No One Knows Rubber Like Malaysia Does’.’’ 

Since 2021, Arab Health has been remodelled into a hybrid event due to the ongoing COVID-19  pandemic. This year, MRC continues its participation with a total of eight co-exhibitors participating under MRC pavilion namely ASAP International, Biomax Rubber Industries, Glove Resources,  Hartalega, Karex Industries, Mah Sing Healthcare, Supermax Glove Manufacturing, and Tradecyanic. 

Other Malaysian rubber medical devices manufacturers and exporters participating on its own are  Iconic Medicare, JR Engineering and Medical Technologies, Longcane Industries, Nulatex, Top Glove,  and WRP Asia Pacific.
