Petronas Chemicals Fertiliser Hands RM724 Million Melamine Plant Contract To Dialog And Technip

DIALOG Group Berhad via its subsidiary, Dialog E & C in consortium with Technip Energies (formerly known as Technip Geoproduction), has been awarded an RM724 million EPCC work for a Melamine Plant by Petronas Chemicals Fertiliser Kedah.

The consortium which DECSB owns 30% while Technip owns the remainder, will be in charge of the provision of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the Melamine Plant. The engineering, procurement, and commissioning scope will be executed by TEM while the construction and pre-commissioning scope will be undertaken by DECSB. The Project is expected to commence in February 2022 and be complete by the second half of 2024.

The latest project will add to Dialog’s already busy order book with Petronas, in December 2021 the group landed an RM360 million contract to build a Compressor Station in Kluang for Petronas Gas, and a month before that a NBL plant for the national oil and gas company.
