Focus Point has announced Mr Soo Zin Chuen as its new Chief Financial Officer who will be taking over the position effective immediately.
Prior to joining the eyewear company, he was the Group Financial Controller at Toyo Ventures Holding Berhad and as the Senior Finance & Accounting Manager of Toyo Ink Sdn Bhd. Soo holds an ACCA and obtained his Bachelors in Accountancy from University Malaysia Sabah.
He was also the Finance Manager at Haier Electrical Appliances (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and MedilinkGlobal (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. His background includes being on the audit team at BDO Raffles Singapore and as Executive Senior at PricewaterhouseCooper -Assurance (Consumer Industrial Products & Services). Not to mention as Tax Assistant at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Tax Services Sdn Bhd and at Audit Assistant of RSM Robert Teo, Kuan &Co.
We will be tasked to manage and oversee financial reporting to investors and Bursa on one of the country’s largest eyewear chains with 180 retail outlets and 230 eyecare professionals.
