Bank Negara Updates Lists On Risky Investment Firms

Bank Negara has updated the Financial Consumer Alert list consisting of companies and websites which are neither authorised nor approved under the relevant laws and regulations administered by the Central Bank.

Howeever, the public is advised that the list is not exhaustive and only serves as a guide to members based on information and queries received.

Accordingly the following companies were added to the list:

  1. BTC Pelaburan Malaysia
  2. Al Ayuni Investment Malaysia (not related to Al Ayuni Invesment and Contracting Co. based in Saudi Arabia)
  3. Preferred Trust Investment Scheme
  4. Madinah Mining
  5. Madinah Mining Investment Pte Ltd
  6. Madinah Mining Group Investment Pte Ltd

Bank Negara adds that the list will be updated regularly for public’s reference
