Kuala Lumpur, Mar 11 –Bursa Malaysia closed broadly lower on Friday, trading volume was thin as investors were staying on the risk-off mood due to the failed peace talk. Most of the major equities markets in Asia extended a global slump after peace talk of a ceasefire between Ukraine-Russia hit the wall and the red-hot U.S. inflation rate recorded in four decades fueled expectations for hawkish rate hikes. On the other hand, Chinese equity markets rebounded from early losses on regulatory assurance over U.S.-listed mainland firms.
