FGV Holdings Female Director Resigns

FGV Holdings will be seeing one of its directors, Datuk Dr. Zunika a Non-Independant Non-executive Director will be leaving the group as she has tendered her resignation. She has cited due to the change in work portfolio at the Economic Planning Unit.

Dr Zunika is an economist with more than 25 years of experience in the civil service.

Her career started in 1994 as Assistant Director in the Agriculture Section of the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) under the Prime Ministers Department. She held several positions in the EPU and rose to become Deputy Director of the Distribution Section in 2008 and moved to the Macro Economy Section in 2012, later to the Infrastructure and Public Facilities Section in 2014.

Before being appointed Director of Agriculture Section of the EPU, Datuk Dr. Zunika was appointed Deputy Secretary-General (Policy) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry in 2018. She returned to the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2019 as Deputy Secretary-General (Sectoral) and later Deputy Secretary-General (Macro).
