Bank Rakyat to Enliven Raya with “Rindunya Ramadan” and “Rindu Nak Raya” Campaign

In line with the coming holy month of Ramadan and Aidilfitri, Bank Rakyat has chosen the themes, “Rindunya Ramadan” and “Rindu Nak Raya” to enliven the much-awaited celebrations.

According to the chief of marketing and communications, Mr. Nizam Sani, after two consecutive years of celebrating Raya during the movement control period, most of the people hope that they can perform their fasting and worship and also celebrate Aidilfitri in their respective hometowns.

Through its campaign ‘Rindu Nak Raya’, the bank’s customers will be able to enjoy various promotions as well as prizes to be given away.

Students who purchase train tickets using the bank’s Debit-i or Credit-i Cards from 1 April 2022 till 31 May 2022 will be able to win KTM’s voucher in the amount of RM1,000.

BusinessToday’s journalist asked Mr. Nizam Sani whether Bank Rakyat will continue the collaboration with KTM after the Aidilfitri celebration, “We just started a good relationship with KTM and this relationship is becoming a fruitful relationship. In terms of products that we could work together (with KTM) for instance, there will be internal staff campaigns which are in the pipeline. Just to add on, this campaign would also extend further when we organise with uniMAP to bring the students back to their respective kampungs,” he said. On the campaign being offered to MSMEs and SME’s, the CMO added that all their initiatives will be promoted across the bank, which means consumer and commercial segments.

As for the target acquisition, he added “we set the target of 15 to 20% increment from the last campaign” which is the gauge set for every campaign bank Rakyat rolls out.
