DRB Hicom Investing RM32 Billion To Develop Automotive High Tech Valley In Proton City

DRB Hicom has committed to invest RM32 billion to develop the Automotive High Tech Valley in Proton Valley Tanjung Malim said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri in his official address at the UMNO assembly.

The Prime Minister added the investment from DRB would generate 370,000 jobs during the development stage and 161,000 during operations.

He emphasised that job creation was part of the Governments top priority adding that under the JaminKerja initiative RM4.8 billion was allocated to provide 600,000 jobs for all Malaysians. The initiative includes skilling, education incentives, training incentives, and MyStep which offers various upskilling programs.
