PKNS Aims To Build 1000 Selangorku Homes Every Year

Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor the state owned property developer aims to build 1,000 units of Rumah Selangorku every year.

This was reiterated by its Chief Executive Officer Datuk Mahmud Abbas who said the effort can be achieved with the collaboration of developers who have can apply the Industrial Building System (IBS) technology to build homes.

Currently, 882 units in Cyberjaya are among the projects that use the method, IBS technology uses prefabricated blocks with components built in factories before being installed at construction sites. The process eliminates time-consuming on-site building which could be hindered by weather and labour shortage.

The CEO added the same technology was also used to complete 420 units in Seri Temenggung, Batu Caves with a combination of the concrete mold system
