Samaiden has entered into a U-Solar Contractor Partnership Agreement with United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, it will participate in the program and is among the few which have already joined.
Under the program, UOB Malaysia will provide banking facilities set out in UCPA to Samaiden with added value in the form of opportunities for its customers to obtain end-user financing for their solar installation. UOB offers to finance for both commercial and residential properties with various packages.
For residential packages can cost anywhere between RM20,000 to RM26, 000 depending on the partner chosen and the type of solar modules required.
Samaiden has a 1-year agreement with the U Solar program and has the option to extend if it chooses to.
