The Selangor state which has confirmed that all scratch parking coupons will cease to exist had reminded citizens to download the Smart Selangor Parking mobile app to make payments for parking fees.
Effective April 1, only the smart parking system will be available at all public venues, this was conveyed on its Smart Selangor Facebook page adding that the use of e-coupons would eventually ease the payment process and had assured that the transactions are secured.
The public is advised to download the SSP app and will have simple steps to activate them. The steps to use e-coupons are:
▪ Pay the parking fees and top-up credit via the SSP app or;
▪ Pay the parking fees via nearest e-coupon agents and;
▪ Top-up credit at 7-Eleven, 99 Speedmart and MyPOSpay
The Selangor administration had phased out the use of scratch parking coupons and implemented e-coupons via the SSP app, available on the Apple and Android playstore.
