KVG Group CEO Awarded With Burj CSR Award In Dubai, UAE

Kenaf Venture Global (KVG) marks another milestone this year by receiving the ‘CEO Burj CSR Award’ for Group CEO of KVG, Mr Jazman Shahar Abdollah, at the 5th Burj CEO Awards Ceremony in Burj Khalifa Tower, Dubai, UAE. The award significantly recognises the CEO’s effort in promoting sustainable living through agriculture, particularly kenaf, globally.

The 5th edition of BURJ CEO Awards, held under the patronage of Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum, gathered top CEOs, companies, institutions, and business communities all around the world in the prestigious event to award selected nominees for their outstanding achievements.

“I am more than grateful to receive the Burj CSR Award and proud to bring Malaysia in the global stage as KVG is the only Malaysian company to be nominated here in this prestigious event. Indeed, it is another milestone for our company, KVG, for all the initiatives we have been engaging thus far in educating and advocating sustainable living, particularly through kenaf, as the way to move forward”, said KVG Group CEO, Jazman Shahar.

Following to this award recognition, the award also highlights KVG Group of Companies’ presence in the Middle East region through its newly established investment holding company, Ar-Rizq Capital Investment LLC (ARCB), which was recently launched in Dubai, UAE. More than an investment holding company, ARCB is also a platform for the attainment of sustainability through market exploration in the kenaf investment.

As of now, ARCB is exploring the international investment market starting with Dubai and other Middle Eastern countries. The investment market is to be expanded to other parts of the world in the future through kenaf cultivation and its potential for sustainable development in various sectors.

Jazman Shahar added, “ARCB is a perfect platform to bring KVG and its group of companies in exploring the global market for industry development as well as a platform in being a contributing factor to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The company’s establishment together with the partnership with UNDRR will be a game-changer for the global sustainability initiative. Among the key elements in the partnership forged with UNDRR is to reach to a wider geographical frame to spread the opportunity of life quality enhancement”.

Following this launch, ARCB has also launched its partnership with the United Nations Disaster Risk Management (UNDRR) to work together in providing a platform towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The partnership will focus particularly on helping the refugees all around the world through the development of sustainable camps using kenaf advance material. It is hoped that this initiative will open the opportunities and possibilities for the global community.
