Border Reopens, Here’s What Malaysians Could Spend On In Singapore

With the Malaysia-Singapore border now reopened, it is no doubt that Malaysians would not hesitate to do something a little fancy in Singapore after two long years!

No, we do not mean spending thousands of dollars on a meal but instead spending a little extra just to feel special and maybe a little “Bridgerton-ish”?

  1. Have a drink and enjoy Singapore’s beautiful view at CÉ LA VI

CE LA VI is located at the top of the Marina Bay Sands Complex and, with its expansive layout and ultra-luxurious fittings, it encapsulates the entire complex. This rooftop bar has three distinct zones, including a restaurant, a chill-out lounge, and a poolside terrace, all of which take advantage of the breathtaking views from 200 metres above Singapore.

2. Marvel at Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the Bay, which spans 101 hectares, is home to two massive greenhouses, Cloud Forest and the Flower Dome, which house exotic flora and fauna. With its massive lawns and massive art pieces displayed on its facades, it’s a true horticultural paradise.

3. Visit the SEA Aquarium

One of our favourite things to do in Singapore is to visit the exclusive SEA Aquarium with a VIP package, which will give you a closer look at the amazing marine life before anyone else, including access to the back of the house feeding sections.

4. Shop to your heart’s content

You can spend your money at the Mandarin Gallery in brand stores like Michael Kors and Victoria’s Secret, at Paragon, which is famous for its luxury brands like Gucci, Miu Miu, Prada, and Salvatore Ferragamo, and at the famous Ion Orchard, which is hard to miss with its wavy glittering façade.

5. Wine and dine like a star at Odette

Chef Julien Royer’s cuisine, combined with first-rate service. The Frenchman sources high-quality goods from artisans all over the world, from Europe to Asia and Australia. Odette topped the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list for two years, from 2019 to 2020, and will receive the prestigious Gin Mare Art of Hospitality Award in 2022.
