They say time flies when you’re having fun!
Taco Bell officially opened its first restaurant in Cyberjaya on 2 April 2021 making their Mexican inspired cuisine accessible to Malaysians. Living by its global brand philosophy – “Live Mas”, Taco Bell embraces the spirit locally and introduced “Live Kaw Kaw” – a colloquial expression that encourages Malaysians to make every day extraordinary by living life to its fullest.
To date, Taco Bell has opened six stores in the Klang Valley, with new stores lined-up thanks to the overwhelming response from Malaysians. Beyond serving delicious food, Taco Bell believes that taking care of its team members is a critical component to its business success.
“Taco Bell is all about bringing Live Kaw Kaw ideas to Malaysians, to create a better future that is both craveable and powered by the best workforce. In 2022, we will continue our mission to empower our employees with innovation and be a champion for diversity and inclusivity in the workplace,” said Harris Beh, Taco Bell Malaysia’s Principal Franchise Operator.

- You can be part of #LiveKawKaw history!
“As a new brand in Malaysia, Taco Bell employees get a chance to be part of this rapid growth and learn how to interact with the headquarters team in the US to ensure consistency in the food and service provided. I am working closely with management, and it gives me brand-new insights every day.
I am honored to be a part of this. To me, it is all about learning new ways of doing things. Regular training is important and allows us to utilise some of the great insights from other countries to help in boosting and building a strong foundation for the brand here in Malaysia.” – Izhaq Ikhbal, Taco Bell Sunway Pyramid Assistant Store Manager
