MAMPU provides requirements and guidelines for Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to empanel (register) their services with the government in order to be approved to do business within the Public Sector in Malaysia.
The empanelment process detailed by MAMPU includes an audit of Google Cloud products and services to confirm Google’s conformance with their requirements, in alignment with the Malaysian Government’s Economic Transformation Plan. The assessment performed by MAMPU determined that Google Cloud meets the Malaysian Government’s requirements for information, network, and physical security.
