In 2019, official Switzerland successfully launched its first House of Switzerland at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. In 2022, House of Switzerland will make its third appearance at Davos. The House of Switzerland is managed by the FDFA’s Presence Switzerland and provides Switzerland as the WEF host state with a communication and networking platform in the heart of Davos. With facilities for working meetings of the Federal Council and the Swiss delegation as well as thematic events, it brings together stakeholders from politics, business and academia in a convivial Alpine atmosphere.
This year’s Davos summit is being held under the banner of ‘History at a Turning Point: Government Policies and Business Strategies’. The House of Switzerland will also put the spotlight on a sustainable recovery and the current challenges in the face of global pressures – and host a variety of events where experts will explore these topics in depth. The agenda covers a wide range of issues, from the potential of new technologies for development aid, to new working models and innovations in the field of digitalisation, to the future of food systems. Switzerland’s participation in the international observatory SKAO, which operates the most sensitive radio telescope of the 21st century with the Square Kilometre Array, will also be discussed. Most of the events will be livestreamed.
The House of Switzerland not only hosts official events and meetings: it also serves as a venue for informal gatherings and discussions between the Swiss delegation and its international guests and partners, as well as for journalists covering the WEF.

The Swiss Armed Forces Culinary Team, a world-class military culinary team, will be on hand to showcase their creative talent and serve delicious food.
