BNI Brings New Cashless Experience To Java Jazz

The main sponsor for the upcoming biggest jazz event in Indonesia, the 2022 BNI Java Jazz, will be using the event to improve its people’s digital transaction literacy.

Bank Negara Indonesia or the Central Bank of Indonesia is planning to prepare all vendors and supporting partners for the event with the use of several digital payment channels to accommodate more transactions without much physical contact.

In an official statement released on Friday, BNI’s corporate secretary, Mucharom, noted that BNI Java Jazz is a good event for encouraging people to carry out more digital transactions.

High public consumption during music events, such as the jazz event, will be a momentum for BNI to further introduce the various advantages of digital channels.

“We will ensure that all channels function optimally for smoother transactions during the event. We expect that this can further enliven this year’s BNI Java Jazz,” he remarked.

After an hiatus due to pandemic, the biggest Jazz festival in the region returns with much fanfare albeit with SOP in place.

This year visitors will be welcomed by a variety of merchandise stands selling souvenirs of the event, with over 50 food and beverage vendors offering local and international delights for patrons. Throughout the event, all transactions will be facilitated through digital payments, starting from QRIS, debit cards, credit cards, and BNI Tapcash, which have been utilized for a long time at Java Jazz, Mucharom informed.

Visitors will also be able to see a variety of BNI’s digital innovations during this year’s event. In fact, BNI will showcase the metaverse where the bank is planning to open a branch in the future.
