Among the areas of strategic cooperation signed by the two parties include the production of organic fertilizers, environmentally friendly animal feed as well as strategic and viable investment areas.

According to Dato ‘Lim Thiam Huat, the construction of Phase 1B clearly reflects the company’s continued commitment and commitment in efforts to uphold green technology in the country, thus completing part of the GTP development plan on 410 acres of land in Pekan, Pahang. In fact, the cooperation signed today between NGGB and NAFAS is the right step to bring the country’s agricultural industry in line with the national green technology agenda based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and further contribute towards ensuring the quality of food supply at affordable prices.

More importantly, the efforts initiated through the concept of ‘zero waste’ development in the GTP will be the basis for the growth of a circular economy based on product production and recycling of waste from factories into remarketing products such as organic fertilizers and animal feed. The waste-to-money initiative in the GTP certainly seeks to create a sustainable corporate ecosystem for the country, especially in meeting the current global economic challenges.
