MIFA Signs MoC With Tech Up Sdn Bhd In To Explore Market In Tech-Based Education And Training Segments

Malaysia Industry Forward Association (MIFA) today signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with Tech Up Sdn Bhd to work together in exploring potential market reach in technology-based education and training segments.

This MoC is also aimed at closing the fundamental gap in term of technical & management skillset in the digital workforce, to address the future talent gap and to accelerate digital education transformation in Malaysia. There is a need to increase participation among the technology-based industry players to help the Government in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M) education and training in Malaysia.

Under the MoC, both parties will share resources in attracting and developing future talent for the digital and emerging technology workforce ecosystem, in particular those who have interest and are already in the industry revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) workforce, to close the skill gap by upskilling and re-skilling them with the latest technological updates available.

As one of the prominent provider for S.T.E.M-based education and training solutions, Tech Up Sdn Bhd is ever ready to deliver its latest applied robotics learning through gamified simulation robotics software “GoTechUp”, a homegrown learning software, as part of its business commitment being the authorized market distributor for Artec Co Lt (Japan) for the Malaysian consumer-based market.

This is in line with the mission and vision of MIFA establishment, which, among others, to be the leading community platform for tech-based business entities and technopreneurs in expanding their business values while advocating IR 4.0 best practices among SMEs and industry players, big or small, start-up or matured, to ensure strong and continuous industry engagements with all our key stakeholders including our association members, public and private institutions and government agencies.

The signing ceremony took place at The Everly Putrajaya Hotel with special presence of YBhg Dato’ Ts Dr Amirudin Abdul Wahab, CEO, Cybersecurity Malaysia, on his capacity as the special advisor of MIFA to grace and witness the event, and Ts Muhammad Didi Hendra Shah, MIFA President representing MIFA while Ms Ainaa Rosli, CEO, Tech Up Sdn Bhd representing Tech Up Group.
