Nine directors from the existing board of the lingerie maker Caely Holdings Bhd were removed today at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) convened for the purpose. A total of 135 million shares out of the 258 million issued shares (representing 52%)
voted in favour.
Shareholders also approved the appointment of 4 new directors to the board with one current director, Datin Fong Nyok Yoon, remaining as a non-executive non-independent director
The new directors appointed to CHB’s board are Leong Seng Wui, Datuk Kang Chez Chiang, Ng Keok Chai and Krishnan Dorairaju. Leong is the current group executive director of Green Packet Bhd
All the other resolutions were passed by the shareholders, with more than 99 per cent voted in favour. Niche Unity Consultants Sdn Bhd was appointed as the independent scrutineer of the EGM.
