Eastspring Investments has announced that it will appoint Terence Lim as Chief Risk Officer and Janelle Yeo as Chief Financial Officer.
Terence will join Eastspring on 29 August 2022, reporting to Seck Wai-Kwong, Chief Executive Officer, and will be a member of the firm’s Executive Management Committee.
Based in Singapore, Terence will oversee compliance, risk, and governance activities across Eastspring. Terence brings more than 20 years of experience. He is most recently Asia Pacific Chief Risk Officer at abrdn, where he provided regional oversight and leadership of the Risk and Compliance function, as well as enterprise risk across its regional businesses.
Additionally, the investment arm of Prudential also confirmed the appointment of Janelle Yeo as Chief Financial Officer. Janelle has spent more than two decades in financial services and has been with Eastspring since 2008, her last role being Head of Corporate Strategy and M&A. Effectively immediately, she will be responsible for the Finance and Legal functions at Eastspring.

Similarly, Janelle stood out as a candidate for the CFO position, given she has worked closely with Finance and Legal in her previous roles and served as CFO and acting CEO for Eastspring Taiwan’s business in the past.,” said Seck Wai-Kwong.
Terence holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Leicester, and an MBA at Booth School of Business from the University of Chicago. Janelle holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
