GroupM Promotes Ji Young Jung To Head Of Xaxis South Korea

Xaxis, GroupM’s outcome media specialist, has expanded Ji Young Jung’s role to head up Xaxis South Korea. Ji Young joined Xaxis South Korea in summer 2019 and having successfully driven advertising operations as a Programmatic Trading Lead, will now lead the vision, strategic direction and continued growth of the Xaxis business as a country head.

Ji Young brings hands-on experience of both the buy and sell sides of programmatic advertising and previously to Xaxis, spent several years at companies such as The Trade Desk and A1 Media Group. Ji Young will take over the role from Junsu Bae, who has been elevated to the position of Head of Digital Investment, GroupM South Korea.

As part of GroupM’s overall strategy for growth, combined with her previous successes, Ji Young will be leading her team towards Xaxis’ vision of scaling up and optimising their performance and digital offerings across Asia-Pacific.
