Malaysian Economy Supported by Domestic Activities and External Demand

According to the Bank Negara Malaysia's message on social media, "Malaysia's economy is firmly on the road to recovery, supported by domestic activities and positive external demand."

"Malaysia's economy is projected to grow steadily in 2022 and 2023 despite ongoing challenges from rising cost pressures, the war in Ukraine and china's covid-19 containment measures," Bank Negara Malaysia Official's statement."

In another quote, BNM Official has also made the statement that, "Retail sales, credit card transactions and imports of consumer goods have surpassed levels recorded before the pandemic."
