Firefly today launched a special campaign dedicated to children flying for free from two to twelve years old, for immediate booking until 14 August 2022, and travel between August 15 to October 31.
This offer is available for all services from Penang (PEN) to Langkawi (LGK), Johor Bharu (JHB), Kuching (KCH), Kota Kinabalu (BKI) and Phuket (HKT) and vice versa, operating using Boeing 737-800 jets. Customers may upgrade to either Plus, Extra, or Flex fare brand to entitle them to this special offer. To elevate a better travelling experience, a selection of junior meal sets with two options: egg-fried rice with smiley potatoes or chicken nuggets with smiley potatoes & peas/corns are included in the upgraded fare brand.
In April 2022, Firefly launched its Boeing 737-800 jets and introduced a value bundle of services available from Plus, Extra and Flex that allow customers to add-ons based on their travel needs and preferences. It offers flexibility and better value features, such as 20KG baggage allowance, in-flight hot meals, 2 times flight changes, priority baggage, boarding & check-in, all seat selection, Enrich points, travel insurance and many more.
The airline currently runs three times daily return flights from PEN to JHB, twice daily from PEN to KCH and BKI and once daily return flights from PEN to LGK with an additional one time-frequency on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flights to HKT from PEN will recommence on August 26, adding more international routes as part of the post-pandemic recovery plan.
