Green Packet And Privasia Deny Being Involved In Smoker Digital Tracking System

Privasia Technology Berhad which was reported by local media that has teamed up with Green Packet to bid for the Smoker Digital Tracking system has issued a statement claiming that the report was untrue.

In a filing to Bursa, the technology company said the information is not true, the report published by an English daily quoted that sources familiar with the project claimed Privasia and Greenpacket are already seeking approval to kick off the system.

The deal is in relation to the controversial Generation End Game Act which has now been kept on ice until October parliament sitting for debate, where those born after 2007 will not be allowed to purchase cigarettes or vape devices.

With the Act now left to the Parliament Select Committee to evaluate further perhaps the supposedly tracking system will also be shelved until October.
