Ranhill Solar I Sdn Bhd has obtained Power Purchase Agreement Extension of 4 Years for the Development of 50mw Large Scale Solar Plant Under Large Scale Solar Phase 4 @Mentari (Lss4@Mentari)
It has also received a notification letter from the Energy Commission notifying its wholly owned subsidiary Ranhill Solar I Sdn Bhd on the extension of the Financial Closing Date, Scheduled Commercial Operation Date, and effective period of PPA for the 50MWac Large Scale Solar Photovoltaic Plant at Batang Padang, Perak under the LSS4@Mentari.
This is in relation to a Large-Scale Solar 4 @ Mentari Photovoltaic Power Purchase Agreement signed with Tenaga Nasional Berhad for the construction and operation of a 50MWa.c. Solar Photovoltaic Energy Generating Facility.
The energy produced by the Facility will be sold under a long-term PPA, directly to TNB for 21 years from the commercial operation date. Under the contract, Ranhill Solar will design, construct, own, operate, and maintain solar photovoltaic energy generating facility in Batang Padang, Perak.
