Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (MYDIN) launched its “MYDIN 65 Years Together with the Malaysian Family” and “Buy Malaysian Goods Campaign” (“Bersama Keluarga Malaysia” and “Kempen Beli Barangan Malaysia”) in conjunction with the 65th year of Malaysia’s formation and alongside the month of the National Independence Day in MYDIN Seremban today.
The campaign launch was officiated by Domestic Trade and Consumers Affairs (KPDNHEP) Deputy Minister Datuk Rosol Wahid, in collaboration with 84 strategic partners and suppliers; among them being MyDebit, Atome, PnG, Shopee, Boost.
Many exciting activities and promotions await Malaysians during the campaign period that runs until 30 October 2022.
Among the campaign, attractions are various contests by the strategic partners such as MyDebit, Boost, and others with prizes worth over RM1,000,000.
MYDIN has partnered with KPDNHEP for the Buy Malaysian Goods Campaign in efforts to revive local businesses, especially the Small Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs) affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
MYDIN is also offering opportunities for new entrepreneurs to expand their businesses and come in into various market segments through a ‘Pitch to Win’ contest.
Three winners of the contest will be entitled to marketing packages as prizes worth more than RM100,000 and chances to market their products at all MYDIN outlets.
At the same time, MYDIN will be holding business seminars conducted by experts from the industry to give exposure on branding and marketing strategies for the new entrepreneurs to strengthen their businesses.
MYDIN Managing Director Datuk Wira (Dr.) Ameer Ali Mydin said, “We understand the difficult situations endured by our “Keluarga Malaysia”, especially during the inflationary pressure and the spikes in the cost of living due to global conditions.
“Most households and businesses were affected due to the price hike, and as we are just entering the endemic phase, we are trying our best to fit into the recovery phase. It’s time for MYDIN to come forward to help lighten the load resulting from higher cost of living.”
Shoppers can also enjoy discounted prices by registering with Mydin’s own Meriah card.
