VSure Group through its wholly owned subsidiary, COFAP, signed a collaboration agreement with Pusat Wakaf MAIWP, a company wholly owned by the Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP).
The aim of the partnership is to assist the communities under the purview of Pusat Wakaf MAIWP by providing a community- funded financial aid program namely for the estimated 50,000 members from the waqf communities.
The program will be jointly administered by Pusat Wakaf MAIWP and COFAP. The collaboration also sees the launch of VSure’s proprietary Syariah-compliant Community Financial Assistance Program (CoFAP).
The program facilitates cash assistance from voluntary contributions to waqf community members. Through COFAP, their members can use financial assistance against cancer, death and COVID-19.
